Arkansas News Bureau Covers the "Draft Lincoln" campaign

Our committee to draft Blanche Lincoln to run for president would like to send a special thank you to Alison Vekshin of the Arkansas News Bureau, for covering our citizen-run campaign to promote a Blanche Lincoln presidential candidacy for 2008.

Hopefully, Blanche will talk with Democratic donors and constituent groups about considering the possibility of running for president in 2008. Our country needs her.

If Senator Lincoln ultimately decides not to run in 2008, we hope she will still be considered as a possible vice-presidential running mate for a potential Democratic nominee such as Governor Mark Warner of Virginia, U.S. Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana, or U.S. Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin.
