Blanche Lincoln's statement on the nomination of John Roberts for the U.S. Supreme Court

"I believe the people of Arkansas and our nation deserve a Supreme Court Justice who is able to fulfill his Constitutional responsibility to interpret and apply the law fairly without political favor or bias," Lincoln said. "I look forward to carefully reviewing the qualifications of Judge John Roberts as the confirmation process moves forward. I will be monitoring the upcoming hearings in the Senate Judiciary Committee closely as I evaluate the President’s nominee."
